Term 2 Culture of Thinking

Term 2 in our Culture of Thinking (COT) is looking at the Synthesising and Organising of the wonderful ideas that are coming out of the deeper thinking and exploring ideas routines experiences that were part of Term 1.

Our new Routines are : 

Generate- Sort-Connect-Share

Colour- Symbol-Image ( CSI)

As well as the attached information there is a package for you to collect from the bench in the staff room. Could you please leave the folder so I can recycle it for next time. 

It is a good idea to collate and collect each sessions information in a folder , COT Routines, so it is available for reference in hard copy as well as digitally.

Routines for the month of March

Hello Everyone,
I hope that everyone has found the new routines a helpful acquisition to their teaching strategies. This blog will enable you to quickly put into words the successes that you are experiencing as well as any issue or new idea you have come across in the process of introducing them.
The posters should help to remind both you and the students of the language and the situations in which the routines can be used.
The blogs will cut down on the need for us to meet regularly for discussion and it will enable you to respond in your own time.
